As a guide, the going average rate for murals on standard surfaces is currently £150 per square metre…
Obvious variables include very rough or textures surfaces, corrugated surfaces (ie containers etc), bad surface quality ie needing additional prep work. Levels of detail too. Flat two dimensional artwork is obviously faster (and thus cheaper) than more photo realistic or textured brush orientated sketchier ‘watercolour’ styles.
Access difficulties (ie larger, higher walls needing access equipment etc) obviously addes cost.
