love

In a very ‘street art’ sense, he likes to work with strong symbolism. Nothing is stronger than the true symbol of love itself, ‘the heart’. He has a whole collectable series with the heart at the centre.

music

As a musician and guitar teacher of 17 plus years, it is no surprise that music features quite strongly in his work. Check out ‘Music Life’ and its back story – his first venture into larger framed pieces. This one is an impressive 2.4 x 1.25 meters and is a personal self commissioned piece exploring his musical journey. It forms an impressive backdrop in his music teaching studio.

automotive

His automotive work stems from his 12 year love affair with his 20 year old Caterham sportscar. Needless to say it has appeared in many forms in a lot of his artwork. Check out his Caterham Classic Art Series, an ongoing set of images exploring well known classic (and more contemporary) art, Caterham related parodies of the originals….that any fans of the brand will love and recognise.

His beloved Caterham featured up close and personal in his first self-commissioned venture into wall art with ‘Redline’ – a 5m x 2.2m mural along the main wall of his garage in his new house, one of his now two fully functioning Mancaves

enviromental issues and social comment

As a life long consciencious consumer (and previous supporter of The Green Party and Friends of The Earth in his younger days), ‘Hamilton’ has a few fairly  strong personal views on the environment, social issues, society and the way the world is going. This inevitablyably pops up from time to time in his artwork….

Caterham Classic Arts

A Banksy-esque paradody of a few ‘classics’ from art history (haha, including Banksy himself) with a Caterham slant, a classic in its own right.

love is...

An ongoing touching exploration of love.  With the heart  very much front and centre

5 minute sketches

Think of an idea, set the timer to 5:00 minutes and press go! An antidote to ‘perfection paralysis’, encourages spontaneous creativity, focuses the mind, and creates some great images… to boot
